Wonderful location and great company to hire a cruising boat

Firstly, the region is stunning. A beautiful river which is very well maintained. Le Boat offers a great holiday cruising the river. A great selection of boats to choose from and the brilliant team at the base. Although early in the season, we had great weather which just added to a wonderful week on the water

Easy to use website, intuitive and (almost) all important information available. The 2 representatives I communicated with via email and phone call were both knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

Le Boat Laggan Scotland were absolutely BRILLIANT

Le Boat Laggan Scotland were absolutely brilliant with us from the moment we walked through their office door and beyond. Gaz took us through a very thorough onboarding process and was very knowledgeable and friendly and he gave us a lot of confidence in Le Boat’s organisation. We had a Caprice boat that was our first experience of the type, having been narrowboaters for many years, and found the boat to be spacious, light and airy, very comfortable and easy to handle (though as with any boat, a bit more “fun” when mooring in windy conditions). Sheila, Kate, John and Paul were all exceptionally helpful and would do anything that we needed, and we especially want to thank them for the help they gave when our 12yr-old son became ill and had to be rushed into hospital for a day. We had been considering hiring a Le Boat in France, and this gave us a first taster of the Le Boat operation and the types of craft they run. As a result we absolutely will be looking to do the French trip and maybe others with Le Boat in future. BTW, the Scottish Highlands are gorgeous in the sunshine and spending a couple of days doing the full length of Loch Ness was a fantastic experience. Thank you so much Le Boat Laggan. We definitely wish to come back 🙂

This was our first experience with Le…

This was our first experience with Le Boat. Our boat was exactly as described, the company communicated very well with us through the entire process. The check-in was seamless and very professional. Our boat was clean and everything worked perfectly. The team at the Le Boat base (Jaimy and Véronique) were very thorough in their instructions on everything we needed to know about the boat, the canals and rivers and how to go through the locks. We had a small issue arise while on our trip and it was promptly fixed. We highly recommend Le Boat if you want to experience a truly amazing and different holiday, cruising on a super boat. We will do this again for sure.

First time doing a holiday like this

First time doing a holiday like this. We hired the Kingfisher for 3 nights on the Caledonia Canal and we absolutely loved it. Boat is a bit basic but fine for three and 4 at a push. The staff at the Laggan Locks base could not have been anymore helpful. Sheila and the team were fantastic and Jack was brilliant giving us all our instructions and safety briefing. We were nervous to take the boat out ourselves but the team made it so easy for us. I would highly recommend booking a boating holiday through LeBoat at Laggan. A brilliant experience.

Absolutely amazing!

Absolutely fantastic holiday get away. The team at Lagan were really helpful and kind with a vast amount of information at hand. The boat was well looked after and clean!

First Timer

Being first time on this type of holiday we were all a bit nervous. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful getting luggage and goods on board. Nearly everything was completed online before arrival just a couple of forms to fill in and sign and then off for a briefing. The briefing was conducted in a professional way making sure we understood everything. The lad gave us plenty of advice about the Locks and where to go and places to moor up for the night which proved invaluable. We all hade one of the most relaxing weekends we have ever had. 10 out of 10 Le Boat.

Very lovely experience

Easy and straightforward booking process. Very friendly and helpful people, nice to deal with both on the phone and at the base as well.
We sailed twice with LeBoat and we’ll definitely be back for more.
