FAQs
No license is generally needed for our cruises. We will issue you with a temporary permit when you arrive. However, some spots in Germany might have different rules and require a license. Check the cruise details or contact us to find out if this applies to your trip. We’re happy to help with any questions to make sure you have a great time cruising!
Where you can moor your boat depends on where you’re cruising. You can usually moor wherever you like on most canals, but some rivers require you to use specific pontoons or ports.
Of course! We recommend a maximum of two dogs on our boats, but please be aware that there’s an extra cleaning charge. Most boats are fine for small dogs, but some with ladders might be tricky for dogs that have trouble getting around.
For bigger dogs, we recommend boats that are easy to jump on and off of, such as Salsa, Tango, Calypso, and all Vision fleet boats. Check out our boat pages for images and virtual tours, and contact our sales team for further advice.
