Nice boat, has all it needs apart from comer on deck replaced by umbrella which is not the same

Great boat perfectly equipped with lovely large deck to enjoy the passing countryside and sit in the evenings and play cards and reconnect with family with no distractions of tvs or mobile phones

Very well maintained boat given its age. All systems functioned well and it was comfortable for 2 couples.

V comfortable and not as small as I’ve thought it might be. Great for our family of 4.

ok, i was not very practical to have the outside table on the top, we were not at the same table as the kitchen , so it was difficult to bring up and down the food all the time.

Well equipped for the two of us tho we were not given the key for the water take but we manged fine

As above older boats need to be less expensive for us to continue partaking in off main season 3 and 4 night breaks.

Great way to relax and see small Irish towns and villages

As above. Night heater did not work properly on the boat.

It was a first time trying such a holiday and it does seem to be suited to these times of Covid-19 restrictions, even with the variable Irish weather. The only downside was the boat itself which had some mechanical problems. The rudder was damaged and had to be fixed – this was discovered when we were been shown how to handle the board. During our voyage, it did feel like the controls were very stiff and difficult but I am not an expert. Finally, something serious happened to the controls – a cable snapped? – meaning we lost control of the boat just as we were arriving back into Carrick and we had to anchor and call for help. I have to say the response of the staff was good in that they came to our aid immediately. As a first time captain, it did make the experience a little unnerving at times however!
