Classique’s key features

*Pricing comment removed by Feefo* I’m sorry to say that the condition of the boat was disgusting! The boat was 25 years old and was well worn to say the least. No heating unless the engine is running, so at night we had to use the extra blankets we brought, plus the spare bedding from the other beds. Our bottom sheet had dried blood on it, we had an escape hatch above our bed and it was missing the cover for it. We had to use a pillow case to block out the light in the mornings. Our toilet had a clear window instead of a frosted one. Curtains were missing and those that were up were missing hooks, so didn’t close properly. The description says you get a power lead to plug in when moored, our boat couldn’t do this. We had to wash all the cups, plates and cutlery. there were bread crumbs in the grill pan! We found cobwebs in the toilets and hairs, totally disgusting!! We woke every morning with pools of water on the cupboards, floor and bedding from the condensation, because it was so cold! You are given very little training on how to manoeuver the boat, fill with water and empty the black waste. No adapter for hose to taps or for the black waste. We printed off an inventory for the boat and there were lots missing. Some locks are manned, but our first 2 were self service and its not easy to operate when it’s your first time boating. Well it’s the last time after this experience. When we were on the Thames plodding along, it’s far more relaxed.I could go on, but I think you’ve heard enough. I’ll try and add some photos?
