FAQs
No licence is generally needed for our cruises. We will issue you with a temporary permit when you arrive. However, some spots in Germany might have different rules and require a licence. Check the cruise details or contact us to find out if this applies to your trip. We’re happy to help with any questions to make sure you have a great time cruising!
Your mooring options are determined by the region you’re cruising in. While most canals offer the freedom to moor wherever you please, some rivers mandate the use of designated pontoons or harbours.
Dogs are welcome on all our boats for an extra cleaning fee. We recommend a maximum of two dogs per boat. Small dogs are allowed on all boats, but those with limited mobility may find it difficult to access boats with ladder-style steps. For bigger dogs, we recommend boats that are easy to jump on and off of, such as Salsa, Tango, Calypso, and all Vision fleet boats.
