You can visit the castle and the museum and take a stroll in its beautifully designed gardens - you’ll be able to get a taste of why King Frederick described his years at Rheinsberg as the 'happiest of his life'. Afterwards, head to the small town center, with its pretty painted houses and lovely shops. If you didn’t get the opportunity yesterday, there are several big supermarket here to stock up with supplies.

Rechlin is the largest municipality in the Müritz-Röbel region and lies at the southernmost entrance to the Müritz National Park. The National Park is abundant with water and bird life to discover and is best reached and explored by bike (if you have added bike rental to your booking).
Alternatively, you may wish to visit the Aviation Technical Museum, just an 10 minute cycle to the north of central Rechlin... in 'Rechlin Nord'. This used to be the location of the Luftwaffe's main testing ground for new aircraft designs in Nazi Germany.
