Boating vacations in La Grande-Motte
Discover the Camargue region onboard one of our license-free boat rentals and travel to La Grande-Motte, an unmissable stop-over!
In La Grand Motte, you’ll discover a unique architecture: the “Ziggourat” style of apartment buildings is inspired by pre-Columbian pyramids and gives a distinctive feel. Architect Jean Balladur designed them and planned the town to favor pedestrians and cyclists, making for pleasant strolls after mooring your boat.
Should you desire trying your luck, head to the Casino Pasino de La Grande-Motte. If partying is more your thing, one evening head to one of the many “paillottes” (beach hut bars) on the Grand Travers beach. We recommend L’Effet Mer and La Voile Bleue where you’ll be able to sample their delicious cocktails while watching the sea or hitting the dance floor!
If you’re a golf enthusiast, you won’t want to miss the 3 courses and other facilities available at the Grande Motte International Golf Club. It’s easy to get to as it’s right next to the town.
